We are Brilliant Barkers
Experienced Dog Trainers
At Brilliant Barkers, we strive to provide fun, kind, reward and games based training to build a relationship of trust and respect between you and your dog.
We are family friendly and happily help your children understand your dog too! Browse our site to learn more about us or contact us to schedule a chat or consultation.
Here is a video of us training a young puppy to stay 'close' and reduce pulling on the lead. Notice the puppy having fun and learning to choose the person over the distractions.
The puppy's owner is videoing 'in the moment' and has a copy of this, to help with her training.
We use a mixture of teaching techniques depending on your preferred learning style, just like every dog, every person is different and we recognise this:
*We help you to learn by us demonstrating first
*or by you listening to instructions and 'having a go'
* by practising some techniques first,
* by looking at photos or a helpful guide,
* or by you writing notes and practising at another time,
* or reading the Whatsapp summary and watching the videos back after each lesson.
(This means we can even train your dog away from you and share the dog training at a time that is convenient for you.)
